Beldum belongs to generation 3 and the epic rarity group in the official roster. Its evolution line is Beldum → Metang → Metagross. A family starts at its first stage; the list below describes that base build.

Move names above are the original labels from the public file. The snapshot reports its default kit; alternate kits, evolution scaling and per-hit effects can change combat results. A missing flat damage value is left unfilled rather than estimated.
Weaknesses and resistances
The current formula softens single-type factors to 1.2, 0.85 and 0.7, multiplies against both defender types, then clamps the product to 0.65–1.35. It does not use the main-series Pokémon multipliers.

Where we would draft Beldum
Beldum has a spread basic attack with 240 range units and a 1.15-second reload, so its useful engagement window should be judged from those parameters rather than its rarity. Its health pool makes holding a scoring area a more natural starting task than chasing a retreating opponent.
fire is a particular type risk for Beldum at 1.2× incoming damage. poison is reduced to 0.7×, but that does not guarantee a favorable duel because supers and kit choices differ.

Sources and snapshot limits
Last checked 2026-10-29. All species parameters come from one publisher: the official game. Recalculating multiple files is reproducibility, not independent confirmation. Launch roster counts differ: the same author’s itch.io listing says 490, while this roster builds 492 families / 934 dex rows. These are different published figures, not an averaged total.
