Recommended Pokémon — editorial picks
| Pokémon | Public evidence | Suggested job and tradeoff |
|---|---|---|
| Chansey | 6,600 HP | A durable occupant; spread allies around the circle instead of stacking all three on it. |
| Onix | Lob attack; 5,900 HP | Pressure entrances from cover; 135 speed makes chasing outside the zone inefficient. |
| Mewtwo | Mental Wave knockback | Push an intruder out to restore uncontested progress; the push must actually clear the zone. |
Strategy and common mistakes
- One uncontested occupant scores as fast as three: use teammates to hold approaches.
- A living enemy inside stops scoring. Clear or displace that enemy before chasing targets outside.
- Ten uncontested seconds gives 19 points; 30 gives 57. Uninterrupted capture from zero takes about 52.6 seconds.

Questions
What is the win condition?
3v3, 150 seconds. The fixed central zone has radius 170 in game coordinates. A team with a living player inside and no opponent inside gains 1.9 percentage points per second, regardless of how many teammates stand there. First to 100% wins; at time-up higher progress wins and equal progress draws.
Does standing with all three players capture faster?
No. The code checks exclusive occupancy and adds 1.9 percentage points per second. Extra teammates add protection, not capture speed.
