MODE
Team Duel
3v3 lasts 150 seconds with a 15-KO early-win target. The 2v2 variant lasts 120 seconds with 10 KOs; 1v1 lasts 90 seconds with 5 KOs. At time-up the higher KO score wins. A tie enters golden KO for up to 60 seconds; without a lead then, the match draws. Players respawn.
Maps and current settings
3v3: Coliseo, Cañón, Bosque helado, Cripta (Halloween-tagged). 2v2: Patio, Dunas. 1v1: Ring, Hielo.
Halloween-tagged maps are conditional event entries, not a promise that all listed maps are always in rotation.
Recommended Pokémon — editorial picks
| Pokémon | Public evidence | Suggested job and tradeoff |
|---|---|---|
| Pikachu | 0.85-second reload; 178 speed | A flanker for a focused target; avoid an isolated trade when your team leads. |
| Mewtwo | 4,150 HP; mid-range attack | A flexible core alongside ranged pressure; keep a retreat route without the super. |
| Chansey | 6,600 HP | A close-range anchor for a group; its reach is a drawback in an open 1v1. |
Strategy and common mistakes
- An editorial 3v3 starting composition is Chansey up front, Mewtwo in mid-range and Pikachu on a side angle. This covers jobs rather than claiming a win rate.
- Pikachu and Mewtwo in 2v2 trade durability for mobility; focus the same target.
- Select 2v2 or 1v1 manually: the 2.0 notes exclude them from Random. Protect a late lead rather than donating the final KO.

Questions
What is the win condition?
3v3 lasts 150 seconds with a 15-KO early-win target. The 2v2 variant lasts 120 seconds with 10 KOs; 1v1 lasts 90 seconds with 5 KOs. At time-up the higher KO score wins. A tie enters golden KO for up to 60 seconds; without a lead then, the match draws. Players respawn.
How is this different from Knockout?
Team Duel counts repeated KOs and allows respawns. Knockout has no respawn within a round and requires two round wins. Smaller Duel variants have shorter clocks.
