MODE
Catch the Balls
3v3, 180 seconds. Collect at least 10 balls as a team and keep a strict lead for a 15-second countdown. The first ball is scheduled after 3 seconds, then every 7 seconds. At time-up the larger ball total wins; equal totals draw.

Recommended Pokémon — editorial picks
| Pokémon | Public evidence | Suggested job and tradeoff |
|---|---|---|
| Pikachu | 178 speed; 0.85-second reload | A mobile collector or escort; 3,400 base HP favors retreat over carrying into a brawl. |
| Chansey | 6,600 base HP | A durable carrier candidate; its short melee reach needs ranged cover. Its current super is a self-buff, not a healing move. |
| Mewtwo | Area knockback super | Clear space around the machine or protect a retreat; 4,150 HP does not make it a dedicated tank. |
Strategy and common mistakes
- Keep the carrier behind cover during the countdown and let teammates guard approaches.
- Do not send all three players after a distant KO while the center machine keeps producing balls.
- Dropping a ball only stops the countdown if the team loses its qualifying total or strict lead. Dropping from 12 to 11 can leave it running.

Questions
What is the win condition?
3v3, 180 seconds. Collect at least 10 balls as a team and keep a strict lead for a 15-second countdown. The first ball is scheduled after 3 seconds, then every 7 seconds. At time-up the larger ball total wins; equal totals draw.
Does every dropped ball reset the countdown?
No. The code checks whether a team still has at least 10 balls and more than its opponent.
